call for publication of the “State of the NSS-CDS” that is presented at the
membership portion of the workshop. The present status of the CDS is:

Butler, and marketing manager: Mike McAuliffe.
- We
held our second Hart Springs Educational Cave Clinic last January.
- The
CDS vandalism fund was initiated as a deterrence to cave vandalism.
- Our
new cave conservation pamphlet, ”Preventing Cave Damage” was released
under the direction of Bill Dunn.
- The
Spanish translation of the Student Workbook was completed.
- The
Regional Safety officer program was changed to “Okaying the Line” quite
successfully by Jim Wyatt our safety officer.
- The
Cathedral steps are nearing completion with Todd Leonard’s leadership.
